Data sources
Gorilla Gainz uses open data. This page says where it comes from, under which license it is available and how you can download it.
OpenStreetMap
The spots on the map and on this website come from OpenStreetMap. Members of Gorilla Gainz have added more spots and corrected some.
The data is available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. You may copy, use and change it. You must credit OpenStreetMap, and you must offer a changed database that you use in public under the ODbL.
Download the spot data
Once a month we publish all spots as a GeoJSON file: name, kind, position, address, equipment, town and the links to OpenStreetMap. It holds no data about people, and no ratings, photos or descriptions. The file is available under the ODbL, and its license details are in the file. The text in the file is in English, so it is the same for everyone.
Place names
The names and positions of the towns come from GeoNames and are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0).
Map
