Bicycle crunch

Also called Bicycle crunches, Air bicycle

The bicycle crunch is a crunch where you rotate your torso and bring one elbow toward the opposite knee, as if cycling. It trains your abs and obliques, with help from your hip flexors. It is a good next step after the Crunch. Move slowly and rotate your chest, not just your elbows. Keep your lower back on the floor and your neck relaxed. Fast pedaling with little rotation does not work your trunk much.
