Elbow lever

The elbow lever is a balance on your hands with your elbows pressed into your stomach, while your body stays straight and horizontal. It mostly works your abs, forearms and shoulders, and your obliques, lower back and hip flexors assist. It teaches you to balance on your hands with your weight leaning forward, and it puts a lot of load on your wrists. Warm up your wrists first and place a soft mat in front of you. Lean forward slowly until your feet lift.
