Frog stand

The frog stand is an easy arm balance. Your knees rest wide on your upper arms and you lean forward until your feet lift off the floor. The main load falls on your shoulders, triceps and abs, supported by your forearms, chest and hip flexors. It teaches you to shift your weight over your hands, so it suits beginners. Warm up your wrists and put a soft mat in front of you. When you can hold it steadily, the Crow pose is the next step.
