Reverse lunge
Also called Reverse lunges, Backward lunge, Back lunge
The reverse lunge is a lunge where you step backward instead of forward. Expect your glutes and quads to work hardest, with your hamstrings, calves and abs joining in. Your front foot stays planted, so it is easier to balance than the Lunge. Take a long step back and push through your front heel to stand up. Give both legs the same number of reps. When it feels easy, the Bulgarian split squat is the next step.
