Russian twist
Also called Seated twist
The Russian twist is a rotation exercise. You sit with bent knees and lean back slightly, then turn your chest from side to side. Your obliques and abs work hardest, while your hip flexors assist. Rotate your chest, not just your arms, and keep your back long. Keep your feet on the floor to make it easier, or lift them to make it harder. Move in a controlled way and add weight only when the plain version is clean.
