Sit-up
The sit-up is a full curl from lying down to sitting upright. Your feet stay on the floor and your arms cross your chest. It mostly works your abs and hip flexors, and your obliques assist. It uses a bigger range of motion than the Crunch. Roll up one vertebra at a time and lower slowly instead of dropping back. Hook your feet under something heavy if they lift. Skip it if it hurts your lower back, and do Crunches instead.
