V-up
Also called Jackknife, V sit-up
The v-up is a sit-up and a leg raise at the same time. You lie flat, then raise your torso and straight legs together until your body forms a V. Your abs and hip flexors work hardest, while your quads and obliques assist. It asks for strength and flexible legs. Move with control and keep your legs as straight as you can. Bend your knees if you cannot keep them straight. Lower slowly instead of dropping down.
