Calf raise

Also called Calf raises, Standing calf raise, Heel raise

The calf raise is a simple exercise for your lower legs. You rise onto the balls of your feet, pause, and lower your heels slowly. It trains your calves. It needs no equipment and suits everyone. Stand on the edge of a step for a longer range of motion, and hold a wall for balance. Pause at the top and lower all the way down, without bouncing. When two legs feel easy, the next step is the Single-leg calf raise.
