Single-leg calf raise
Also called Single-leg calf raises, One-leg calf raise, Single-leg heel raise
The single-leg calf raise is a calf raise on one leg. It trains your calves with more load than the two-leg version. Rest one hand lightly on a support for balance. Keep your ankle straight, rise onto the ball of your foot, pause and lower slowly. Give both legs the same number of reps. It suits you when the Calf raise feels easy. To make it harder, stand on the edge of a step or hold some weight.
