Straddle planche
The straddle planche is a planche hold with your straight legs spread wide, which shortens the lever. Your body is horizontal above the floor, supported only by your hands. It mostly works your shoulders, chest and abs, and your biceps, forearms, upper back and glutes assist. It takes a lot of straight-arm strength, built over months. Get there through the Advanced tuck planche. Warm up your wrists and elbows, use parallettes if your wrists complain and end the hold when your line breaks. The Full planche is the next step.
