Floor L-sit
Also called L-Sit, L-sit hold
The floor L-sit is a hold where you press yourself off the floor on straight arms and hold your straight legs out in front, so your body forms an L. Expect your abs, hip flexors and triceps to work hardest, with your shoulders, lats, quads and forearms joining in. It needs flexible legs and strong shoulders that press down. If your hands are too low to clear your hips, the Parallette L-sit gives you more room. Keep your legs as straight as you can. When it feels easy, move on to the V-sit.
