Negative handstand push-up

Also called Negative HSPU, Eccentric handstand push-up

The negative handstand push-up trains only the lowering part. You kick up to a handstand on the wall and lower your head toward the floor slowly. It builds strength in your shoulders and triceps, with help from your chest, upper back, abs and forearms, and it is a common way to a first Wall handstand push-up. You need a steady wall handstand and the Elevated pike push-up first. Lower over three to five seconds, touch the mat lightly and bring your feet down with control.
