Straddle front lever
The straddle front lever is a front lever with your straight legs spread wide, which shortens the lever. You hang from a bar on straight arms with your body horizontal and facing up. Expect your lats, abs and upper back to work hardest, with your biceps, forearms, shoulders and glutes joining in. You need a strong Advanced tuck front lever first. Warm up your shoulders and elbows, squeeze your glutes and abs and end the hold when your hips pike. The next step is the Front lever.
