Tuck front lever
Also called Tucked front lever
The tuck front lever is a hold where you hang from a bar and lift your body to horizontal with your knees pulled to your chest. Your arms stay straight. It trains your lats, abs and upper back, with help from your biceps, forearms, shoulders and hip flexors. It is the first step of the front lever ladder. You need strong pull-ups and a solid hollow body hold. Keep your shoulders pulled down and your back flat. When you hold it steadily, the Advanced tuck front lever is next.
