Typewriter push-up
The typewriter push-up is a wide push-up where you lower over one hand, slide across at the bottom to the other hand and then press up. It trains your chest and triceps, with help from your shoulders, abs and obliques. The sideways move puts the load on one arm at a time. It suits you when the Archer push-up feels solid. Keep your hips still and move only your shoulders. Slide the same number of times to each side. The One-arm push-up is the next step.
