Push-up
Also called Press-up, Standard push-up
The push-up is the basic pressing exercise. You hold your body in one straight line, lower your chest to the floor and press back up. The main load falls on your chest, triceps and shoulders, supported by your abs and glutes. It needs no equipment, so you can do it anywhere. If a full push-up is too hard, use the Knee push-up or the Incline push-up. When sets feel easy, try the Diamond push-up or the Decline push-up. A band across your back adds resistance.
