Archer push-up
Also called Bow and arrow push-up
The archer push-up is a wide push-up where you lower over one arm while the other arm stays straight to the side. The straight arm only steadies you, so the working arm carries most of your weight. Expect your chest and triceps to work hardest, with your shoulders, abs and obliques joining in. It bridges the gap to the One-arm push-up. You need clean Wide push-ups first. Train both sides equally. When it is easy, the Typewriter push-up is the next step.
