Wide push-up
Also called Wide-grip push-up
The wide push-up places your hands well outside your shoulders. The wide grip moves the work toward your chest. The main load falls on your chest, supported by your shoulders, triceps and abs. It adds variety to your push-up sets. Do not go too wide: your shoulders should stay comfortable. Keep your hips in line and lower your chest between your hands. When it feels easy, move on to the Archer push-up.
