Wall handstand
Also called Chest-to-wall handstand, Back-to-wall handstand
The wall handstand is a handstand hold with your feet resting against a wall. You balance on your hands, upside down and in one straight line. It trains your shoulders and triceps, with help from your upper back, abs and forearms, and it teaches you the straight body line. You need strong, warm wrists and shoulders. If you are new to being upside down, start with the Wall walk. Face the wall and keep your ribs in so you do not arch. When you hold it calmly, the Freestanding handstand is the next step.
